DREAMING WITH THE EGYPTIAN TEMPLES

A 12 days / 11 nights journey

thru the land of Egypt

January 27 – February 7, 2025

“Don Juan Matus’s line of action was his intentional attempt to pull me into what he said was another “cognitive system.” By “cognitive system,” he meant the standard definition of “cognition”: “the processes responsible for the awareness of everyday life, processes which include memory, experience, perception, and the expert use of any given syntax.” Don Juan’s claim was that the shamans of ancient Mexico had indeed a different cognitive system than the average man’s.”

Carlos Castaneda – The Wheel of Time

Egypt is a land filled with ancient mysteries. Surrounded by protective deserts and made fertile by the great Nile river, it was the repository of millennia-old knowledge.

Greece is considered the cradle of our Western civilization, but before Greece there was Egypt, and Greeks such as Pytagoras, Empedocles and Plato were all taught in Egyptian temples. Just like the Toltecs, this long and brilliant civilization had placed at the center of its concerns the understanding of the human soul and its relationship with Spirit.

The ancient Egyptians left behind many spectacular monuments such as the Sphynx, the Pyramids of Giza and numerous temples, each dedicated to a specific God or principle. They are the ones who laid the foundations of Astrology and Alchemy. It is also said that the knowledge of the Egyptians came from a much older civilization that completely disappeared from the face of the Earth around 12,000 years ago and that they had the same origin as the Mesoamerican civilization.

During this 12 days / 11 nights trip, we will visit the pyramid of Giza, the Red pyramid, the bent pyramid, the pyramid of Saqqara and the Serapeum with its gigantic coffins of perfectly polished granite, the Temple of the goddess Isis on the island of Philae, the temple of Abu Simbel dedicated to Ramses with 4 stone giants with peaceful gazes, the temple of duality at Kom Ombo, where medicine was taught, the temple of Horus in Edfu, God of the sun and the intellect, the temples of Luxor (ancient capital of Egypt), and the temple of Karnak oriented towards the winter solstice, the temple of Denderah dedicated to the other face of nature: the goddess Hathor and astrology, the temple of Osiris at Abydos, and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut in the Valley of the Kings where the kings and queens of Egypt are buried.

We will also have the opportunity to spend 3 nights under the stars and bivouac on islands, during a felucca cruise on the Nile, in order to connect us more deeply to the natural elements and landscapes of this ancestral land.

Before and during this trip you will be guided in learning and practicing specific sets of Toltec movements to better connect to these ancient places, and we will share our insights with each others.
